The Senior HR Generalist leads the daily functions of the HR department, including recruitment
, employee relations
, and compliance
. They serve as a trusted advisor to leadership while fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment, from drafting job descriptions to interviewing and extending offers.
  • Employee Relations: Independently manage and resolve complex employee relations cases, conduct investigations, and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure the organization remains compliant with all labor laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO) and update company policies as regulations evolve.
  • Performance Management: Partner with managers to implement performance reviews, goal-setting frameworks, and employee development plans.
  • Benefits & Payroll: Administer employee benefit programs, manage leaves of absence, and collaborate with finance for accurate payroll processing.
  • Data Analytics: Leverage HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP) to maintain accurate records, track HR metrics, and generate reports for strategic decision-making.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and organize professional development workshops or orientation programs for staff.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Typically 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a generalist capacity.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically advanced Excel) and extensive experience with modern HRIS and ATS tools.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication, active listening, and the ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
