Temporary Program Recruiter

Join YWCA Hamilton as a Temporary Program Recruiter to foster community and career program outreach. This role focuses on relationship-building and improving workforce diversity.

You will be instrumental in supporting employment initiatives targeting women and other marginalized communities. Key responsibilities include collaborating with local organizations, coordinating interviews, and implementing effective outreach strategies aligned with workforce needs in Hamilton. Your expertise in community services will drive inclusive hiring practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop community outreach programs and strategies

• Collaborate with employers on hiring plans

• Inform stakeholders about program benefits and supports

• Track and document outreach efforts for improvement

• Actively participate in community events and initiatives

Requirements:

• Enrolled in or completed relevant education

• Strong understanding of local social services

• Ability to communicate effectively and support inclusivity

• Experience with Outreach Plans is highly desirable

• Bilingual skills and a valid driver’s license are assets
