Volunteer Board of Directors at Rainbow's End

Contribute to community change with Rainbow's End as a member of our Volunteer Board of Directors.

This role offers hands-on governance experience aimed at empowering individuals with mental illness in Hamilton and Burlington.

We are looking for driven individuals to join our diverse board. In this volunteer capacity, you will collaborate with community leaders and use your expertise in areas such as law, finance, HR, or advocacy. Your input will support our mission of creating opportunities for those facing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in governance discussions and decision-making

• Attend monthly board meetings remotely

• Serve on at least one board committee

• Network with community leaders and stakeholders

• Advocate for the vision of Rainbow's End

Requirements:

• Commitment to a 2-year term, up to 6 years

• Experience in law, HR, fundraising, finance, or marketing

• Interest in empowering marginalized communities

• Lived experience of mental health issues is valued

• Ability to dedicate approximately 5 hours monthly
