Become a Community Outreach Recruiter with YWCA Hamilton to promote our vital Pre-apprenticeship training programs. This role focuses on engagement with local communities and employers to foster inclusion.

In your temporary position as a Community Outreach Recruiter, you will design and launch outreach strategies to raise awareness of pre-apprenticeship opportunities.

Your role will involve collaboration with various community organizations and schools to support underrepresented groups. This position requires a balance between independent work and teamwork, rooted in equity and social justice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and execute community outreach initiatives

• Engage with local schools and non-profits

• Understand and address employer workforce needs

• Manage interview processes for potential candidates

• Evaluate and report outreach effectiveness

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Social Services or similar

• Proven experience in outreach plan development

• Strong grasp of community services in Hamilton

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Bilingualism is an asset
