Here’s what we do…The Industrial Services division works closely with our Industrial customers to provide meaningful value to their operations and revenue from the scrap metal they generate. As a full-service metal recycling partner, we leverage our technical expertise, creative solutions and integrity to capture market share in the Canadian manufacturing, construction, and industrial segments we serve.
Here’s where you come in!We’re seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Account Manager to oversee industrial accounts in the Greater Toronto Area or Southwestern Ontario. Regardless of final location of the successful candidate, the ideal candidate will undergo 3-6 months of training and onboarding at our Head office in Toronto/Vaughan.
This is an entry-level role, and while prior experience is beneficial, our primary focus is finding the right individual who is eager to grow with us. We’re looking for driven, outgoing candidates with experience in providing exceptional technical or customer service. Our goal is to develop and promote this individual into an Account Manager and beyond.
Sound good so far? Here’s more of what you’ll be responsible for in this role…- Develop and maintain relationships within assigned accounts
- Maintain a high level of service to existing customers; manage the customer relationship; and solicit referrals from these customers, where possible
- Collaborate with customer contacts to define needs and provide solutions
- Identify and target new business sales opportunities
- Promote and maintain the organization's brand image and identity within the marketplace
- Develop sales goals for territory or area; manage all aspects of strategic sales initiatives for these regions
- Maintain a high level of product and customer knowledge
- Ensure overall client satisfaction
- Travel to client sites to maintain relationships with the existing customers
- Performs other duties as required
- Successful completion of post-secondary degree
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and other stakeholders
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
- Good negotiation, planning, delegation and organizational skills
- Ability to occasionally travel and visit customers in Canada and US
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
