Sales Representative

Location - Rockton, ON

Salary - 1st year Base 65K plus commissions (Total comp 90K-110K)

Our client is a well recognized Canadian manufacturer and distributor of high end retail goods across retailers in Canada and the USA. They are seeking a professional Sales Representative to drive sales, build and maintain customer relationships, and achieve sales targets. Your expertise in the CPG, retailer, or another relevant industry will be essential in presenting their products to potential customers and ensuring their satisfaction.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the ideal candidate enjoys a position that focuses on a balance of market expansion and established account management.

This is an on-site position, with travel as required. Uncapped commissions.

The Role:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through lead generation, networking, and market research specific to the relevant category.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Present and demonstrate their products, addressing customer needs and objections.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
  • Travel as required

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative, preferably in the CPG, retailer, grocery, or related industry/category.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently. We are looking for hunters that are highly motivated to grow.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex products/services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
