Account Mgr-LTL

Position Overview

Responsible for new business development, account implementation, and maintaining customer relationships within a defined geographic territory. Focus on identifying customer needs, delivering tailored LTL solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience.

• Direct sales efforts within an assigned territory.
• Promote and direct sales activities, ensuring alignment with territorial goals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and outreach.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts by understanding customer supply chains.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding service.
• Conduct sales presentations, develop proposals, and close deals.
• Utilize CRM tools and Microsoft Office to manage sales activities.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) years of B2B sales experience. Up to four (4) years can be supplemented by a post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree.
• Knowledge of LTL services and competitive landscape.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook).
• Excellent time management, organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills, including excellent attention to detail.
• Mid‑level negotiation skills and ability to offer competitive pricing.
• Ability to collaborate with local operations teams.
• Bilingual (English/French) preferred; required in Quebec.

• Position requires extensive and frequent travel, including overnight travel.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Hours may vary due to operational need.
