About Asteris

Asteris is at the forefront of veterinary software, trusted by small-animal, equine, and exotic practices around the world. Our advanced PMS/PACS/RIS/DICOM solutions streamline clinical and imaging workflows, support clinical decision-making, and integrate seamlessly with major partners.

We’ve recently expanded our portfolio with Stable Track, an AI-powered equine practice management platform. Stable Track combines purpose-built workflows that complement equine veterinarians’ day-to-day tasks and patient management with AI technology that lightens the administrative workload.

We are growing rapidly, with new products and services on the way that further enhance how veterinary teams capture, manage, and share diagnostic information. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company shaping the future of veterinary technology.

About the Role

The Junior Sales Representative will help drive revenue by responding to inbound inquiries, sourcing and closing new business, nurturing existing accounts, and supporting day-to-day sales operations. You’ll work closely with clinics, veterinarians, and practice managers to understand their workflow challenges, deliver consultative product demos, and assist with proposal creation and follow-through.

This role blends proactive outreach, product demonstrations, proposal development, and account support across the full sales cycle. You’ll engage with veterinary professionals in a variety of settings, including 1–3 industry trade shows per year, where you’ll help showcase Asteris’ expanding suite of solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Prospecting: Identify, qualify, and engage new opportunities across companion-animal, equine, exotic, and mixed-animal practices. Schedule and lead discovery conversations with veterinary teams evaluating imaging and workflow solutions.
  • Demos & Deals: Deliver crisp product demos (cloud PACS, 3D viewer, teleconsultation options, PIMS integrations) and support proposals, contracts, and follow-ups.
  • Account Care: Build trust with prospects and customers; capture their needs and translate them into solutions and clear next steps.
  • Marketing Support: Assist with content initiatives, including creating trade shows materials, suggesting case highlights, and reviewing educational content for accuracy and clarity.
  • Events: Attend trade shows and help with booth prep, live demos, and lead capture.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records and strong CRM hygiene in Salesforce to support clear visibility into pipeline activity.
Success looks like:

Consistent activity, qualified pipeline growth, strong demo-to-opportunity conversion, clean CRM hygiene, and closed-won contribution.

What You’ll Bring
  • Equine veterinary, clinical, or industry sales background (preferred): Experience as an RVT/RVN or veterinary professional with exposure to veterinary practice management software and PACS in a clinic or hospital setting. Veterinary industry sales experience — especially in imaging, medical devices, software, or practice workflow solutions — is strongly valued.
  • Communication: A clear, confident communicator who is comfortable running demos and handling objections.
  • CRM & record keeping: Familiarity with CRM platforms and strong habits around accurate, consistent record keeping.
  • Work style: Organized, curious, and coachable, with the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to trade shows and industry events 3–4 times per year.
  • Education: A business, veterinary, or related field is preferred but not required; equivalent hands‑on experience is welcome.
  • Nice to have: Understanding of veterinary practice workflows (reception → imaging → reporting → billing), PIMS, teleradiology ecosystems, or prior SaaS sales experience.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
  • The chance to make a significant impact in a growing software company.
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment.
