Job Description Our client, a leading company in the medical device / healthcare industry, is looking for an OEM National Key Account Manager – Canada to join their Commercial Sales team.

Role Overview & Purpose The OEM National Key Account Manager – Canada is a senior commercial role responsible for the strategic management, retention, and profitable growth of OEM, private-label, dealer and distributor customer relationships across Canada.

This is not an entry-level or transactional sales role. The position requires deep experience in OEM commercialization, long-cycle sales, contract manufacturing, and private-label partnerships within a regulated medical device or healthcare environment.

Success is measured by long-term revenue growth, margin sustainability, forecast accuracy, and operational excellence.

General

Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Account Management & Partnership
* Own and manage OEM, private-label, dealer and distributor customer relationships
* Build trusted executive-level partnerships across all accounts, including commercial, supply chain, purchasing and operational teams
* Maintain cadence through regular in-person visits to customers
* Lead structured customer engagements, including quarterly business reviews and multi-year planning sessions
* Expand OEM partnerships through portfolio growth, line extensions, and private-label programs
* Ability to quickly develop solid business relationships with key accounts across the territory
* Search for potential new customers to drive new customer expansion and OEM business

Commercial Growth, Planning & Forecasting
* Prospect new opportunities while maintaining pipeline and growth planning
* Own OEM forecasting and demand visibility aligned with build-to-PO execution models
* Translate customer demand into actionable internal planning inputs for Operations and Supply Chain
* Balance customer growth objectives with internal capacity, lead time, cost, and margin requirements

New Business Development – Strategic OEM Growth
* Identify and pursue high-value OEM and private-label partnerships aligned with long-term strategy and operational capabilities
* Prospect and evaluate OEM opportunities at the national level
* Lead complex, long-cycle OEM business development initiatives involving multi-stakeholder decision models
* Own OEM opportunity strategy from initial engagement through contract award and launch readiness
* Maintain leadership-ready visibility of OEM pipeline, probability, and timing within CRM and forecasting tools

Timely and Efficient Completion of Administrative Tasks
* CRM, reporting, pipeline updates, gain and loss reports, and other commercial-related reports
* Market intelligence reports
* Expense reports and other required administrative tasks

Required Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 10+ years of experience in medical device sales, preferably within OEM, private-label, distributors or dealers
* Proven experience managing national or strategic key accounts with long sales cycles
* Strong experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality/Regulatory teams
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience; MBA is a plus
* Ability to attend company training and utilize resources to enhance knowledge and learnings
* Fluency in English and French is an asset

Travel Requirements Daily travel within province and occasional out-of-province travel. National travel across Canada is required, approximately 30%.
