Egis is seeking a motivated Junior Environmental Scientist to support pivotal environmental consulting efforts. You will be involved in Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and Hydrogeological Assessments, working on major 'nation-builder' infrastructure projects. This role requires travel and may involve nights and weekends to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments according to standards

• Perform groundwater sampling and fieldwork for assessments

• Report findings related to Excess Soils project compliance

• Support major infrastructure environmental assessments

• Complete documentation and reporting for regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in environmental science or related field

• Over 2 years of environmental consulting experience

• Knowledge of Ontario regulations and CSA guidelines

• Strong technical report writing and documentation skills

• Valid driver's license and travel willingness
