Egis is excited to welcome a Junior Environmental Scientist to its dynamic team. This role involves essential tasks such as conducting Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and hydrogeological fieldwork. You will also participate in reporting for Excess Soils projects, helping to uphold regulatory compliance while traveling to site locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments to CSA standards

• Perform sampling and groundwater assessments during fieldwork

• Document findings related to Excess Soils projects

• Report on major infrastructure environmental assessments

• Maintain compliance documentation for regulatory purposes
Requirements:

• Degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline

• 2+ years in environmental consulting with proven skills

• Familiarity with CSA guidelines and Ontario regulations

• Excellent writing and communication abilities

• Willing to travel and work flexible hours
