Egis Junior Environmental Scientist

In this Junior Environmental Scientist position, you will work on Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and participate in hydrogeological fieldwork.
Your role will require a solid understanding of CSA and Ontario regulations, along with excellent technical documentation skills. You may need to travel for different projects, contributing significantly to critical infrastructure developments across the province.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer Phase I/II ESAs and remediation activities
• Conduct sampling for excess soil initiatives
• Facilitate hydrogeological assessment fieldwork
• Produce reports for major infrastructure assessments
• Perform any other relevant duties as needed
Requirements:
• Degree in environmental science, biology, or a related area
• Over 2 years’ experience in environmental consulting
• Proficient understanding of Ontario regulations and CSA standards
• Strong writing and coordination abilities
• Valid driver's license and travel readiness
