Advance your career with Egis as an Environmental Risk Assessment Specialist. This role focuses on human health and ecological assessments while fostering innovative project solutions across Canada.
As a Qualified Person (QPRA), you will leverage over 8 years of expertise in risk assessments, brownfield remediation, and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will encompass leading major assessments for high-impact projects and developing effective risk management strategies in compliance with O.Reg. 153/04. You'll have opportunities to mentor staff, engage in proposal writing, and contribute to team business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead human health and ecological risk assessments for diverse projects
• Interpret O. Reg. 153/04 requirements for assessments
• Produce high-quality technical work and mentor junior staff
• Develop proposals and foster client relationships
• Innovate strategies within the risk assessment community
Requirements:
• Qualified Person for Risk Assessment (QPRA) in Ontario
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant science or engineering discipline
• 8+ years' experience in risk assessments and remediation
• Proficient in spreadsheet analysis for data evaluation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
