This is a full-time, on-site Diesel Mechanic role located in Stoney Creek, ON. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines, heavy equipment, and associated tools. Day-to-day tasks will include conducting vehicle maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the efficiency and safety of all vehicles and equipment. The mechanic will also contribute to a safe and productive work environment.

• Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance
• Strong knowledge of Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment handling
• Experience with Preventive Maintenance techniques and procedures
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues effectively
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and standards related to vehicle and equipment maintenance
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications or trade qualifications in diesel mechanics or related fields are an asset
• Physical stamina and ability to work with heavy machinery
• Previous experience in a similar role within the environmental or industrial services industry is a plus
