Position: Operations Electrician at Johnson Electric
Advance your skills as an Operations Technician – Electrician at Johnson Electric in Ancaster, Ontario. Focus on ensuring the reliability of electrical systems in our manufacturing operations on an onsite basis.
As an Operations Technician – Electrician, you will play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems that support our high-volume production processes. Your expertise in PLC systems and electrical troubleshooting will be vital in optimizing plant performance. The job involves a 12-hour continental shift schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and conduct maintenance on electrical control systems

• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions to ensure smooth operations

• Develop preventative maintenance strategies for electrical systems

• Inspect and test electrical circuits and installations

• Support repairs and upgrades on manufacturing equipment
Requirements:

• Certification as an Electrician or relevant equivalent experience

• 2-3 years in manufacturing, particularly automotive

• Extensive knowledge of PLCs and industrial electrical systems

• Proven skills in electrical troubleshooting

• Ability to work autonomously and address problems effectively
