Commercial Roofing Technician

Responsibilities

• Installation of Roofing Systems: under the direction of a foreman, install various roofing systems such as BUR, EPDM, single‑ply, coatings, safety systems, and other low‑slope roofing systems. Operate tools safely and adhere to all applicable health and safety legislation.
• QA and Maintenance Inspections: perform routine inspections using diagnostic equipment, check roofs to ensure the system operates properly, and communicate and correct any problems.

• Willing to travel (up to 25% or more) within the assigned region and work flexible hours during peak season.
• Ability to work at heights and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle (truck is a nice to have).
• Must have at least 2 years of commercial roofing experience (flat or steep‑slope experience).

This is a new position. Pay range is $35–$45. Final compensation is dependent upon an individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, internal equity and market data alignment.
