Taylor Steel Inc. is hiring a skilled Electrician in Stoney Creek, Ontario, for full-time maintenance tasks. This position emphasizes troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electrical systems.
The Electrician role involves a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, with a requirement to start with an 8-hour day shift for up to six months. You will be tasked with preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, alongside PLC programming. Strong interpersonal skills and safety adherence are paramount in this collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintain electrical systems on machinery
• Perform preventive maintenance regularly
• Modify electrical attributes as per directives
• Program and diagnose PLC issues
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
• 309A/442A Certificate of Qualification
• Certification for Working at Heights
• Thorough knowledge of electrical equipment
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes
• Excellent communication skills
