Fire Alarm Technician

Reporting to the Supervisor Inspection & Service, the Fire Alarm Technician will be part of a close-knit team of experienced professionals and ensures the inspection, maintenance, and emergency service of fire alarm systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspection, service and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems
- Performing upgrades, repairs, additions or improvements to systems following inspection
- Preparation of inspection, and deficiencies reports in a timely manner
- Respond to emergency calls during evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis

- Diploma in Fire Protection Technology/Technologist or other relevant training
- 3 years of experience in service and inspection of fire alarm systems
Strong customer service skills - Ability to work well independently
- Working knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S536
- Knowledge of Notifier products (an asset)
- CFAA certification (an asset)
- Valid driver’s license
