This position requires a licensed Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) in Ontario, responsible for all aspects of maintenance and repairs across campus buildings. Your key skills will include diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and conducting minor renovations. This role directly impacts the efficiency and safety of our university infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain mechanical building equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical system issues
• Perform pipe fitting and metal fabrication tasks
• Operate machine tools to create parts
• Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Valid Ontario Millwright Certificate (433A or 443A)
• Minimum 3 years of related experience
• Forklift Certification required
• Valid Class G driver license
