Position: Licensed 310T Diesel Truck Technician [ID:85AI]
A nationwide fleet maintenance operation is hiring a Licensed 310T Diesel Truck Technician in Stoney Creek, ON to repair and maintain tractors, trucks, and trailers. Ideal candidates bring tractor-trailer, diagnostic, and major component repair experience. Apply today for a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a steady 4/10 day shift schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine service on tractors, trucks, trailers, and related fleet equipment.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, overhaul, adjust, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, differentials, fuel systems, brakes, steering, and related systems.

Use diagnostic tools, computers, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, jacks, and hoists to identify issues and complete repairs.

Road test vehicles, verify repairs, and document warrantable repairs on work orders.

Replace, adjust, and reassemble parts to keep fleet vehicles safe, reliable, and road-ready.

Maintain a clean, safe work area and support additional shop priorities as assigned.

Requirements

Required:

5+ years of hands-on tractor-trailer maintenance experience.

Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician license, Red Seal, or equivalent provincial certification, with required registration.

Current Class D or Class 3 driver’s license with air brake certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Diagnostic and troubleshooting experience with major components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials.

Proficiency with diagnostic tools, welding equipment, hand tools, power tools, computers, and related repair documentation.

Able to work the required Sunday–Wednesday day shift, travel locally as needed for customer yards or training, and work in non-climate-controlled conditions.

Able to meet the physical demands of truck repair work, including lifting up to 45 kg and working around heavy parts and equipment.

Preferred:

OEM training courses in major truck components.#CJ1 Compensation:$40.00 – $44.00/hour based on experience and qualifications $5,000 sign-on bonus
