Our client is seeking a hands‑on Service Manager to lead yard operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating teams, equipment, and processes to drive operational excellence. You will play a key role in leading technicians, supporting field operations, and maintaining high service standards. What We Offer- Competitive salary: $70,000 – $95,000

- Stable, full‑time schedule (typically 8:00 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM), with earlier start and finish times during the summer season

- Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to meet project timelines and operational goals.
- Oversee daily yard operations, ensuring efficiency, organization, and productivity.
- Lead, train, and supervise service technicians and yard personnel.
- Monitor project schedules, costs, and labor hours to ensure work stays within budget.
- Ensure full compliance with safety policies and lead incident reporting and prevention initiatives.
- Track fleet movement, equipment usage, and yard activity, providing regular operational reports.
- Collaborate with Branch Manager and internal teams to develop work plans and resolve operational issues.
- Manage tools, equipment, and yard expenses while supporting field service operations as needed.
- 7+ years of industry experience or 10+ years in construction or related operations.
- Proven leadership experience in a hands‑on service or field environment.
- Strong background in construction, service management, or yard operations (modular experience is an asset).
- Experience managing budgets, project costs, and operational performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused approach.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work in fast‑paced, physically demanding environments.
