Refrigeration Technician

Position: Refrigeration Technician for City

This role entails performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of critical HVAC equipment across corporate sites. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance on boilers, cooling towers, and HVAC systems

• Troubleshoot and repair heating and refrigeration equipment

• Record and monitor system performance metrics

• Operate repair tools and manage contractor supervision

• Maintain safety devices and building control systems

Requirements:

• Must hold a current Ontario Refrigeration Mechanic certificate (313A)

• Valid Ontario Gas Fitter license preferred

• Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and building controls

• Strong communication skills to interact across teams

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
