Sandvik Mining seeks a dedicated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join its Field Service team. Successful candidates will possess relevant experience in mining equipment, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and a commitment to health and safety guidelines. You will manage equipment repairs, conduct inspections, and assist in the commissioning of new machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and analyze equipment for performance issues

• Adjust and repair defective parts or systems

• Conduct operational tests on repaired machinery

• Commission new equipment at various sites

• Document technical work and maintain accurate reports

Requirements:

• Relevant trade certification, with red seal preferred

• Minimum 3 years related experience in mining

• Proficient in diagnostics following schematics

• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel

• Strong communication and computer literacy
