As a licensed Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, you will engage in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and building automation systems at McMaster University. This position requires a valid Certificate of Qualification (313A) and offers a structured Monday to Friday work schedule. You'll diagnose mechanical faults, fabricate metal components, and provide recommendations for system improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair HVAC and building automation systems

• Maintain and service air diffusers, fan coil units

• Diagnose HVAC, mechanical, and electrical system issues

• Operate machinery to fabricate or repair components

• Provide input on automation systems design and maintenance

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent

• Valid Ontario Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Certificate (313A)

• 3 years of related experience

• Valid Class G driver’s license

• Additional certifications are a plus
