Become part of Taylor Steel Inc.'s Maintenance and Engineering team as a Certified Electrician in Stoney Creek. Focus on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance for industrial equipment.
This full-time Electrician position operates on a 12-hour rotating continental shift, starting with 8-hour days for initial training.
Your role will involve working with PLCs, achieving safety compliance, and enhancing production equipment functionality. Strong collaboration with other trades is essential for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot electrical issues on industrial machines
• Execute preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
• Modify electrical configurations for production needs
• Conduct PLC programming and diagnostics
• Collaborate with Millwrights and Supervisors on projects
Requirements:
• Valid 309A/442A Electrician Certification
• Working at Heights Certification required
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems
• Understanding of relevant regulations and codes
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
