Summer Student General Labourer

Triple Crown Enterprises (TCE) is looking for a Summer Student General Labourer at our Hamilton Fabrication Shop.

This is a hands‑on position in a steel fabrication shop where you’ll support welders, painters, and the shipping team while helping keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.

• Sweep and maintain a clean, organized fabrication shop.
• Assist welders and painters with daily tasks.
• Communicate with other departments regarding shipping activities.
• Follow and promote workplace health and safety policies.
• Report safety concerns to your supervisor.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

• High school diploma (minimum).
• Ability to accurately read a measuring tape in both:
  • Metric
  • Imperial (including fractions)
• Previous industrial or shop experience is preferred but not required.

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Organized and self‑motivated.
• Willing to take initiative.
• Problem‑solving ability.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety.

• Starting wage: $20.00 per hour
• Opportunity to gain valuable hands‑on experience in a professional fabrication shop while working alongside skilled tradespeople.

• Lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Stand, walk, and remain physically active for up to 4 consecutive hours

• Comfortable working in an industrial fabrication environment.
