This permanent position requires on-site work due to the physical nature of tasks involved. The ideal candidate will possess key skills in inspecting cable signals, maintaining equipment, and working tificates in Working at Heights, CPR, and First Aid are essential for ensuring safety on the job.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and test cable signals and related equipment
• Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone systems
• Identify transmission faults through equipment testing
• Climb poles and ladders to perform installation tasks
• Complete test and service reports for equipment maintenance
Requirements:
• Relevant college or diploma certification (3 months to less than 1 year)
• Experience in similar roles is an asset
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation
• Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions
• Must be a resident of Canada or authorized with valid work permit
