Position: Licensed Carpenter for High-Performance Homes
Join The Conscious Builder as a Carpenter focusing on high-performance residential projects in Ottawa. Bring your expertise in framing, renovations, and energy retrofits to our dedicated team.

This role requires a licensed Carpenter with at least 7 years of field experience or a Red Seal certification. You will be engaged in Net Zero Homes, Passive Homes, and Off-grid Homes, honing your skills in various carpentry disciplines. Expect to collaborate closely with the Site Supervisor and assist in the training of apprentices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform demolition and footing work efficiently

• Frame structures and install windows and doors

• Complete exterior siding and insulation tasks

• Execute drywall and flooring installation

• Manage material take-offs and submissions

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience or Red Seal certification

• Proficient in framing and various carpentry skills

• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans

• Valid driver's license and personal tools

• Willingness to travel around Ottawa for project needs
