Experienced Powerline Technician at DDP Technology

Join DDP Technology Inc. as an Experienced Powerline Technician in Hamilton, Ontario, specializing in high-voltage electrical systems. Contribute to a transformative team while ensuring safety and quality in every task.

This role offers the unique opportunity to shape the newly established Line Division by applying your technical skills as a Powerline Technician. You'll engage in maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical distribution systems and lead initiatives that promote safety and teamwork at every level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot overhead and underground systems up to 6 kV

• Conduct live line work and erect power line structures

• Utilize UWPC for work permits and hold-offs

• Perform inspections and maintenance of high-voltage equipment

• Lead and mentor Apprentice Technicians during operations

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Certification (Red Seal) mandatory

• Valid Ontario Driver’s License (preferably AZ or DZ)

• Strong understanding of safety and operational regulations

• Capable of physical tasks including lifting and climbing

• Certifications in First Aid and Working at Heights are assets
