Become an Electrical Apprentice with Valard Construction in Jarvis, Ontario.

The Canadian Union of Skilled Workers (CUSW) is recruiting 3rd Term and above electrical apprentices for a project that spans over three months. Key duties include cable pulling, grid installation, and substation work. Candidates must have a valid Red Seal certification and be ready for outdoor labor, supplying their own tools and safety gear.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain site cleanliness and organization

• Install ground grids for project safety

• Pull and terminate cables as required

• Set up and install equipment on-site

• Ground fencing and equipment where necessary

Requirements:

• Valid Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification required

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Willingness to work in various weather conditions

• Must provide personal tools for the job

• Safety attire including boots and high-visibility clothing
