Position: Fitter Role at Walters Group
Become a skilled Fitter with Walters Group in Hamilton, Ontario, known for its exceptional steel construction projects. Bring your fitting experience to fabricating and assembling high-quality steel structures.

In this role, you'll report directly to the Team Leader and take charge of fabricating and fitting structural steel assemblies. With at least five years of experience, you will ensure safe practices while mentoring others. Operating various tools and ensuring quality control are essential components of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay out reference points on structural steel

• Operate welding and fitting equipment for assembly

• Perform crane checks and material movement

• Mentor junior fitters and apprentices

• Adhere to safety and health regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of fitting/fabricating experience

• Blueprint reading proficiency

• Excellent organizational skills

• Communication and analytical abilities

• Flexibility in managing priorities
