Job involves working on shifts and flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Working Conditions:
Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, dusty and outdoors
Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive company vehicle to job sites.
Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
Pull wire through conduits and through holes in walls and floors
Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment
Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels
Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits
Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair
Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components
Connect electrical power to audio and visual communication equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling systems
Update work orders at each shift outlining scope completion and material used. Ensure all tools are put back in company vehicle at end of shift.
Maintain housekeeping at job sites and ensure all PPE compliance
Qualifications and
Experience:
3 – 4 years of relevant experience in construction/residential industry
Apprentice registration is required. 309C licence is an asset.
Education
Completion of a four- to five-year apprenticeship program in Ontario or equivalent.
Vacancies: 2 Positions
Wages: $34.00 per hour; 30-hour work week; overtime rate of $51.00 per hour after 44 hours per week
Benefits: 10 days annual vacation
Duration:
Permanent, full time, year-round position
