Become an essential part of KPIC Maintenance Services Inc. as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright). This position revolves around performing maintenance and repairs, focusing on preventative and reactive solutions for various facilities throughout Alberta and beyond.
As a valued member of our team at KPIC, part of the FWS Group of Companies, you will handle inspections, installations, and troubleshooting activities specific to grain handling and food processing sectors. Consistent commitment to safety and quality is paramount, alongside the ability to work seamlessly in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute mechanical inspections and repairs diligently
• Lead preventative maintenance initiatives
• Interpret and apply equipment layouts and maintenance manuals
• Manage junior staff and promote skill development
• Account for tools and follow safety procedures consistently
Requirements:
• Living within 100 km of the job location or relocation required
• Proven mechanical aptitude with analytical capabilities
• Understanding of welding principles and certification preferred
• Current safety certifications such as First Aid and WHMIS are advantageous
• Enrollment in an Apprenticeship program;
Journeyman status is preferred
