Aircraft Maintenance Specialist M2

Take your skills to new heights as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M2 with GAL Aero Staff Ltd. in Hamilton, ON. This position focuses on ensuring the safety and functionality of aircraft through rigorous maintenance practices.

As an AME-M, you will work under an AME-M Shift Lead, handling both line and heavy maintenance activities.

Your role will include performing critical inspections, troubleshooting avionics and hydraulic systems, and maintaining aircraft integrity while observing all safety procedures. Efficient documentation and effective team collaboration are equally important.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct operational tests and maintenance checks on aircraft

• Inspect and repair aircraft components as needed

• Ensure compliance with ACA documentation requirements

• Mentor apprentices in technical and safety protocols

• Engage in troubleshooting activities for complex systems

Requirements:

• AME-M license along with AVOP’s and radio licenses

• Comprehensive knowledge of Transport Canada regulations

• Reliability and strong problem-solving capabilities

• Proficient communication and teamwork skills

• Physical fitness to manage job demands
