Starting salary: 31.53$ / hour. Must be willing to work on rotational shifts every 2 weeks (Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm and Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm – 2:00 am)
How you’ll make an impactAssist with transformer repair operations, under the direction of the supervisor or other repairmen.
Perform basic mechanical and logistical tasks, following predetermined procedures.
Operate forklifts and cranes when required.
Pick up and deliver materials and equipment using shop truck.
Support shipping and receiving when needed.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, dispose of garbage/recycling in accordance with local environmental standards.
Label and store dismantled materials accurately.
Monitor dry air pressure on stored units.
Support continuous improvements initiatives within the facility.
Contribute to safety and quality improvements by identifying and addressing issues within the scope of the role.
Your backgroundHigh school diploma.
Experience in a semi-skilled trade.
Able to read drawings and bills of material.
Comfortable with physical tasks like lifting, bending, pushing & pulling.
Ability to work in a team environment
WAH training, forklift license, MEWP licensed an asset
