American Iron & Metal is on the lookout for a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to guide our mechanics and apprentices. This bi-weekly position emphasizes both leadership and technical capabilities to ensure the safe operation of heavy machinery. Ideal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in maintenance practices and commitment to enhancing team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a diverse team of mechanics

• Supervise daily equipment repair and troubleshooting

• Effectively diagnose issues in hydraulic and electrical systems

• Conduct essential inspections and maintenance checks

• Collaborate with teams for effective task scheduling

Requirements:

• Hold a valid 421A Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification

• Significant supervisory experience in maintenance

• In-depth knowledge of heavy equipment systems

• Capability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams

• Experience with maintenance management software is a plus
