Make an impact with Da-Lee Group as an Environmental Waste Technician, supporting sustainability in a hands-on industrial role. This position focuses on waste processing and management, available full-time, Monday to Thursday.
The Yard Waste Technician contributes significantly to operational safety and efficiency. With responsibilities ranging from waste collection to equipment operation, you'll ensure compliance with environmental standards. Ideal candidates thrive in fast-paced settings and possess a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process containerized chemical waste safely
• Collect, label, and document waste samples
• Sort, segregate, and package waste materials
• Operate forklifts and other industrial machinery
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety compliance
Requirements:
• Background in waste management or environmental services
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work actively
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Forklift certification and chemical handling experience preferred
• Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable transport
