The successful applicant must be able to perform the following tasks:
- Successfully lead a crew of 2-4 team members
- Installing foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, door frames, hardware, interior/exterior trim
- Fitting and installing window frames.
- Repairing cabinets, doors, frameworks and floors
- Construction of outdoor decks, fences and outdoor living structures
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar carpentry position
- Driver's Licence/Transportation
- Strong leadership skills
- Able to read/interpret blueprints when necessary.
- Worker at Heights training
- Able to work independently.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Organized and results oriented.
- Own basic tools would be an asset.
The successful applicant will be entitled to a total compensation plan including an excellent wage, health benefits and a bonus plan. Wages are extremely competitive and negotiated fairly based on experience, ability, and attitude.
