Apply welding, fabrication, and mechanical maintenance skills with GFL while supporting machinery, heavy equipment, and facility infrastructure. Safety remains central.
As a Welding Millwright, you will perform skilled welding, fabrication, maintenance, and millwright duties across industrial operations. The work includes SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW processes, mechanical troubleshooting, and machinery maintenance. You will help maintain equipment efficiency through repairs, assembly, installation, and preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform structural welding, repairs, and custom metal fabrication
- Inspect and repair heavy machinery and hydraulic systems
- Assemble, align, install, and dismantle industrial machinery
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life
- Follow safety, LOTO, SOP, and PPE requirements
- CWB or Red Seal Welder Certification, or equivalent experience
- Experience with millwright tasks and mechanical troubleshooting
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver's license and physical industrial work capacity
