Permanent Post.

Location: Woodlands ELC

Hours: 18.5 hours per week, not term time.

Work Pattern: Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday shifts between 8am-6pm.

Hourly Rate: £17.72 - £18.21 per hour.

  • Describe your previous experience of actively contributing to the planning and co-ordination of programmes of learning in an Early Years Establishment.
  • Explain the skills, abilities and experience that enable you to communicate effectively with children, parents/carers, team members, and outside agencies.
  • Provide an example of working as part of a team, detailing your role and what you would do differently in the future.
  • Describe how you would support a child with distressed behaviours and the strategies you would use.
About the Role

You will work as an enthusiastic, effective member of an early years team, supporting, nurturing children and creating stimulating learning opportunities that deliver a high quality child‑centred provision meeting the needs of our youngest children and their families. You will be an innovative educator who works in partnership with others.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience of working within an early years environment and a commitment to ongoing professional development are required. You must hold at least one of the following qualifications: NNEB, HNC, SVQ 3 Children's Care Learning & Development, SVQ 3 Early Years Care & Education, or BA Early Learning and Childcare (Graduate Apprentice).

Applicants must also meet the registration requirements of a Practitioner with SSSC.
