Mechanic
Location:
Hamilton
Salary: £600 - £800 per week
Hours:
Dayshift, 9am to 5pm with OT available
Contract:
Full-time, Permanent
Apex Resources Limited are currently looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our clients busy and growing workshop. You'll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing a mixed fleet of HGVs to DVSA standards, ensuring vehicles are safe, compliant, and roadworthy at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs
- Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment
- Complete MOT preparation and inspections
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
- Maintain accurate job cards and service records
- Comply with health & safety regulations at all times
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Desirable
- Previous experience as an a Car Mechanic
- Good understanding of DVSA regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence needed
