Watford (within a 20-mile radius) Salary:
Up to £35,000 per annum We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected provider of water hygiene compliance services for an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join their growing team. The Role As a Water Hygiene Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out a range of planned preventative maintenance and monitoring tasks to help clients remain compliant with Legionella control regulations. Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out temperature monitoring of hot and cold water systems Shower head cleaning, descaling, and disinfection Cold water storage tank cleaning and disinfection Inspecting water systems, including cold water storage tanks and calorifiers Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) inspections and servicing Basic remedial plumbing works, including removing dead legs and small water system modifications Collecting water samples for microbiological analysis Inspecting domestic hot and cold water systems to identify potential compliance issues Completing all work in line with company procedures and health & safety standards Communicating effectively with clients and site personnel regarding work progress Reporting any issues or additional remedial requirements promptly Maintaining a professional approach while representing the business on client sites Working closely with internal teams to identify further remedial opportunities where required What We're Looking For Previous experience within water hygiene or Legionella monitoring Strong technical understanding of domestic hot and cold water systems Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Full UK driving licence What's on Offer Salary of up to £35,000, depending on experience Company vehicle Mobile phone Laptop All specialist equipment and PPE provided Vehicle recovery service Ongoing training and career development Health & Safety training and professional support Supportive working environment with opportunities to progress If you're an experienced Water Hygiene Technician looking to join a reputable business with excellent support and long-term career opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.
