Payroll Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator for a temp-to-permanent opportunity. This position is ideal for a payroll professional who has experience independently processing payroll and is looking to continue building their career within a professional Finance environment.

The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the full payroll cycle while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, confidentiality, and compliance.

• Independently process payroll from start to finish.
• Manage multiple payroll cycles and ensure accurate, timely processing.
• Review timesheets, employee records, wages, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
• Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and applicable tax with holdings.
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee information.
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and related accounting activities.
• Respond to employee payroll questions professionally and confidentially.
• Support payroll audits and compliance requirements.
• Partner with Finance and HR on payroll-related matters.
• Assist with additional accounting and administrative projects as needed.

• Previous experience independently processing payroll is required
  .
• Experience with Paycom, ADP, UKG, Paychex, or similar payroll systems.
• Understanding of payroll taxes, deductions, wage regulations, and payroll best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
