Position: Customer service representative (Billing - credit-related experience Must)

Position: Customer Care Billing Analyst

Location: Mays Landing, NJ

Duration: 3 Months

Responsibilities
  • Talk with customers and/or the Board of Public Utilities and/or Public Advocate and client executives regarding the completion of payment arrangements or other escalated credit-related issues.
  • Provide strong customer service, adherence to company policies, and attention to detail.
  • Discuss and convey critical policy requirements pertaining to payment arrangements and credit-related issues with customers.
  • Communicate with executives and government affairs representatives to convey the status of customer issues.
  • Construct e-mail messages, complete simple database entries, and take detailed notes from conversations with customers which can later be used to complete payment arrangements.
  • Work with MS Word and e-mail software; preferably Lotus Notes, but MS Outlook is acceptable.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and excellent time management to handle a high volume of customer issues.
Qualifications
  • Seasoned customer service representative with the ability to communicate effectively with customers on escalated matters.
  • Ability to utilize soft skills when speaking with customers and convey policy requirements pertaining to payment arrangements and credit-related issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with executives and government affairs representatives to convey the status of customer issues.
