Resource ELA Teacher

St. Gregory the Great Academy, a Preschool 3 - Grade 8 Catholic elementary school, is seeking applicants for the position of Push‑in Resource English Language Arts Support Teacher. Orton‑Gillingham and/or Wilson experience is desirable but not required. Training will be provided.

• Maintain a high professional standard consistent with the mission of St. Gregory the Great Academy and the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Develop and implement lesson plans that demonstrate a thorough understanding of the curriculum and instructional practices of the Academy
• Implement and model developmentally appropriate classroom practice, including communication, social/emotional well‑being, and positive guidance strategies
• Implement classroom management strategies that promote student responsibility, problem‑solving skills, and student accountability
• Demonstrate the ability to supervise students in a safe, nurturing, positive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment
• Work as a team player with designated teaching team
• Bring enthusiasm, flexibility, and a "can‑do" attitude to the position
• Possess and understanding of the special learner and the unique ways in which they learn

All applicants must fully meet the minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Education with evidence of coursework/experience in the specified areas
• New Jersey (or out of state equivalent) teacher certification (standard certificate or certificate of eligibility)
• Diocesan and Academy Safe Environment requirements must be completely met

Salary: $37,500.00 - $41,000.00 per year
