- New Jersey Instructional Certificate, Certificate of Eligibility, or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing
- Early Childhood Education P-3 or
- Elementary EducationK-6
- Knowledge/experience with NJ Student Learning Standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with other grade level teachers
- Willingness to differentiate instruction and utilize technology to enhance student learning (particularly in mathematics and language arts literacy)
- Knowledge of state assessment expectations and test specifications (where applicable)
- Experience with Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching (a plus)
- Successful clearance of criminal history
- All Substitutes must be BOE approved

School Year - Days 1-20 - $130.00 a day
- Day 21+ = $367.00per day HTEA 26/27

- Leave replacement teachers receive benefits after 5 consecutive months of working (single health benefits)
- In addition to the base salary, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package: including medical/vision, prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off.
