Health/PE Leave Replacement Teacher-Middle School
- Grades 6-8

• Replacement for employee on a leave of absence
• Length of positions may vary

Requirements:

• New Jersey Instructional Certificate - Teacher of Health and Physical Education(CE, CEAS, Provisional, or Standard)
• Ability to instruct middle school students (gr. 6-8)
• Willingness to work with students at all levels in a gym and classroom setting
• Knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards for Comprehensive Health/PE
• Knowledge/experience with Google Apps for Education
• Knowledge of Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching (a plus)
• Successful clearance of criminal history
• All Substitutes must be BOE approve

Effective: 2026 - 2027 School Year

• Days 1-20 - $130.00 a day
• Day 21+ = $340.00per day HTEA 26-27

Benefits:Leave replacement teachers receive benefits after 5 consecutive months of working (single health benefits) In addition to the base salary, eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package: including medical/vision, prescription and dental insurance, and paid time off.
