Lead Insights Analyst – GTM Strategy Position Overview
Billtrust is seeking a Lead Insights Analyst to serve as a strategic partner to Go-To-Market (GTM) leadership. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of data, strategy, and revenue execution.
The role goes beyond reporting — it owns executive-level insights across pipeline, bookings, forecasting, and sales productivity. You will design dashboards, shape board-ready narratives, and partner directly with Sales leaders to influence revenue strategy and outcomes.
This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to executive leadership.
Executive Reporting & Dashboard OwnershipDesign and maintain scalable dashboards across Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, Clari, and Gong.
Establish and govern a single source of truth for pipeline, bookings, forecast, and productivity metrics.
Improve data models, visualization standards, and reporting governance.
Partner with Sales Leadership to identify risks, performance drivers, and growth opportunities.
Analyze funnel health and provide insights influencing headcount planning, territory design, quota setting, and compensation strategy.
Support executive and board-level reporting with structured narratives and insights.
Act as a thought partner on key GTM initiatives including channel and expansion strategy.
Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and actionable recommendations.
Build scalable reporting frameworks for new logo acquisition and expansion motions.
Identify gaps in CRM hygiene and reporting logic; recommend improvements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams.
Define and document metric standards and reporting definitions.
5–7+ years of experience in data analytics, revenue operations, or business intelligence (preferably in B2B SaaS).
Advanced proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI.
Strong Salesforce expertise.
Experience with Clari and Gong preferred.
Strong SQL skills and experience working directly with data models and large datasets.
Deep understanding of SaaS metrics including ARR, pipeline coverage, CAC, conversion rates, expansion, churn, and forecast accuracy.
Proven ability to create executive-ready dashboards and board-level reporting.
Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with high ownership.
Base Salary: $115,000 – $145,000
Additional incentives may include equity, commission, or performance bonuses depending on eligibility.
