Logistics Coordinator:
Shipping/Receiving

Position Overview

Coordinator responsible for overseeing the smooth flow of goods throughout the company’s supply chain. They verify incoming and outgoing shipments, prepare goods for transport, and coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure packages are delivered and received in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities
  • Inbound logistics:
    Manage the daily receipt and inspection of deliveries and shipping documents via the SAP system, identifying and resolving shipping issues.
  • Outbound logistics:
    Prepare all shipments, including packing, shipping documents, and labeling, coordinating with internal and external parties.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Maintain accuracy and on‑time package deliveries to the company and outbound shipments.
  • Create and maintain accurate data and documentation in the order management system.
  • Learns other aspects of the supply chain flow to support other departments (inventory, receiving, ordering, etc.).
Key Competencies and Skills Required
  • Familiarity with logistics software/warehouse management systems and receiving/shipping regulations.
  • Knowledge of business procedures and process flows.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift at least 20 lbs. to and from the manufacturing floor and stand for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • U.S. Person status required due to ITAR regulations.
Salary

The salary range for this position is $22.00–$26.00 hourly. The actual salary offered to a candidate will depend on several factors, including work location, relevant experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two or more years of experience in logistics or supply chain environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP functional and operational applications preferred.
  • Self‑motivated; able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong communication, project management, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good spoken and written English; manufacturing industry experience preferred.
