Part‑time Licensed Practical Nurse (Medical) needed at Garden State Youth Correctional Facility, Yardville, NJ. Primary duties include skillful administration of patient care, assisting in discharge planning, and contributing to the plan of care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Duty is performed in night shifts. Current position status:
Part Time, 20 hours/week, 40‑hour standard week, full onsite work arrangement.

• Participate in data collection related to patient status and needs.
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and ensure implementation of the plan of care.
• Inform and instruct patients or significant others on health/illness state and plan of care.
• Assist in preparation for discharge and health maintenance in the home.
• Document all aspects of patient care.

Minimum

Education and Experience:

Possession of a valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey, CPR Certification, Valid Driver’s License and ability to provide or arrange transportation between sites.

• At least six (6) months of experience in an acute hospital setting.

Must be able to perform CPR for at least 10 minutes and assist in lifting/rotating patients up to 50 pounds.

Must be approved by the Department of Corrections and adhere to all DOC requirements.

Grade 215. Minimum Salary $33.510, Mid‑Range Salary $34.010, Maximum Salary $35.030. Final offer may vary based on qualifications, experience, and funding availability.
